Canon GI-73 Grey Original Ink Bottle 60ml – Genuine PIXMA G570 & G670 Photo Printer Ink

The Canon GI-73 Grey Ink Bottle 60ml is a genuine Canon dye-based photo ink refill developed for Canon PIXMA G570 and G670 six-colour MegaTank photo printers. Designed to support detailed photographic reproduction, the original Canon Grey ink contributes to smooth tonal transitions, subtle shadows, balanced greyscale images and natural-looking photographs.

With a 60ml ink capacity, the Canon GI-73 GY bottle provides a convenient way to replenish the dedicated Grey ink reservoir of compatible Canon PIXMA photo printers.

Unlike standard four-colour printing systems, Canon’s GI-73 photo ink family includes six colours: Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red and Grey. The additional Grey and Red inks help support detailed photo printing and an expanded range of photographic tones.

Whether you manage a photography studio, print wedding albums or produce photographs at home, the Canon GI-73 Grey Original Ink Bottle provides the manufacturer’s specified replacement ink for your supported printer.

Key Features of Canon GI-73 Grey Ink Bottle 60ml

1. Genuine Canon Original Grey Ink

The Canon GI-73 Grey Original Ink Bottle contains genuine Canon ink formulated for compatible PIXMA photo printers.

Original Canon consumables are developed for the manufacturer’s designated printheads and ink delivery systems.

Using the recommended ink supports printer compatibility and consistent printing performance when the printer is correctly maintained.

2. Dye-Based Grey Photo Ink Technology

The Canon GI-73 GY contains dye-based Grey ink.

This formulation is part of Canon’s six-colour photo printing system and helps reproduce intermediate grey tones and smooth photographic gradients.

Grey ink works alongside the remaining GI-73 colours to support detailed colour and monochrome photographic output.

3. Smooth Greyscale Tonal Transitions

The Canon GI-73 Grey Ink Bottle 60ml contributes to light and medium grey tones.

These intermediate tones are especially valuable in photographs containing subtle shadows, soft lighting and detailed monochrome subjects.

The dedicated Grey ink helps the compatible printer manage variations between darker and lighter photographic areas.

4. Ideal for Black-and-White Photography

Black-and-white photographs require smooth transitions across the greyscale range.

The GI-73 system includes both Black and Grey ink bottles.

The dedicated Grey ink contributes to intermediate tones in monochrome images, helping reproduce portraits, landscapes and artistic photography.

Actual results depend on image processing, paper and print settings.

5. Original 60ml Ink Bottle Capacity

The Canon GI-73 Grey Original Ink Bottle contains 60ml of genuine dye-based photo ink.

The refillable format enables users to replenish the designated Grey ink reservoir without replacing a conventional ink cartridge.

Actual ink consumption depends on the image being printed, photo size, colour coverage and maintenance requirements.

6. Up to 8,000 A4 Colour Pages

Canon lists a reference yield of up to 8,000 A4 colour pages for the GI-73 Grey ink on compatible models.

This figure is based on Canon’s specified composite colour testing with replacement ink bottles.

It should not be interpreted as a guaranteed output of 8,000 pages from a Grey bottle independently.

Actual yield depends on content coverage, printer settings, environmental conditions and frequency of use.

7. Up to 3,800 Photo Prints

Canon also specifies an estimated 3,800 4 × 6-inch photo prints using a complete six-colour GI-73 replacement ink set under its photo-printing test conditions.

This measurement is different from the 8,000-page A4 colour-document reference.

Neither figure guarantees the output of an individual Grey bottle.

8. Compatible with Canon PIXMA G570

The Canon PIXMA G570 is a six-colour photo printer designed for photographic output.

It supports genuine Canon GI-73 ink bottles, including the dedicated GI-73 Grey.

It uses the GI-73 ink family, including original Canon Grey ink.
