TVS RP 3160 GOLD Thermal Receipt Printer

The TVS RP 3160 GOLD is a professional thermal receipt and POS printer designed for fast and reliable billing and receipt printing in retail stores, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, counters and other business environments. It uses direct thermal line printing technology, eliminating the need for ink or toner.

The printer supports 80 mm / 3-inch thermal paper with a maximum print width of 80 mm. With a print resolution of 203 DPI and a maximum printing speed of 160 mm/sec, the RP 3160 GOLD is suitable for high-speed receipt and transaction printing.

The TVS RP 3160 GOLD supports USB and Serial interfaces, providing flexible connectivity with compatible POS systems, computers and billing equipment. It also features an available cash drawer port, making it suitable for complete point-of-sale setups.

For efficient operation, the printer includes an automatic cutter supporting full cut, partial cut and tear-off functions. The cutter is rated for up to 1,000,000 cuts, providing reliable performance for high-volume printing environments.

The printer supports a wide range of commonly used 1D barcodes, including EAN13, Code 128, ITF, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN8, Code 39 and Codabar. This makes it suitable for receipt printing, product identification and barcode-based POS applications.

The RP 3160 GOLD uses paper rolls with a width of 80 ± 0.5 mm, supports a maximum roll diameter of 83 mm, and accepts paper thickness from 0.06 to 0.08 mm. A photoelectric paper sensor helps detect paper conditions during operation.

For durability, the printer features a print head life of up to 100 km and cutter life of up to 1 million cuts. It also includes 4 MB flash memory, 120 KB flash logo memory, a receive buffer and an onboard buzzer.

The printer operates with a 100–240 V AC power supply with 24 V DC output, making it suitable for standard business and POS environments.
