HP OMEN 45L Gaming DT GT22-3002in PC

HP OMEN 45L GT22-3002in Gaming Desktop

The HP OMEN 45L GT22-3002in is a premium gaming tower for users who want one computer for demanding games, streaming, creative projects and everyday productivity. It combines an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics, generous DDR5 memory and dual SSD storage. Based on this configuration, it is a strong option for enthusiasts and creators who use several demanding applications within the same workflow.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K Processing Power

At the centre of this desktop is the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, featuring 24 cores, 24 threads, 36MB Intel Smart Cache and up to 5.7GHz turbo frequency. Its combination of eight performance cores and sixteen efficient cores provides resources for demanding foreground tasks and background activity. This makes the processor worth considering for users who alternate between gaming, editing, rendering and multitasking. Actual performance depends on the application, workload and system settings.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB Graphics

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 provides 16GB GDDR7 dedicated graphics memory and uses NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. It supports ray tracing and DLSS technologies in compatible games, giving users access to advanced rendering and AI-assisted graphics features.

For creative work, NVIDIA Studio support brings GPU acceleration to compatible applications for video editing, 3D rendering and graphic design. NVIDIA Broadcast also offers supported AI effects for voice and video. These capabilities make the graphics platform relevant to users who want to create content as well as play games.

64GB Kingston FURY DDR5 Memory

The desktop includes 64GB Kingston FURY DDR5-5600 MT/s XMP RGB Heatsink memory, configured as four 16GB modules. This capacity gives memory-intensive applications more room to work alongside browser tabs, communication tools and other software.

For users handling creative projects, sufficient memory can reduce the need to repeatedly close applications when switching tasks. The system supports up to 128GB of memory, although all four DIMM slots are occupied in the supplied configuration. A capacity upgrade therefore requires replacing existing modules with compatible alternatives.

Dual SSD Storage for Games and Projects

Storage consists of two 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSDs, providing 2TB of combined nominal capacity. The separate drives offer flexibility when organising your software, game library, recordings and working files.

You can choose to keep applications on one drive and project files on the other, making your storage arrangement easier to manage. Both drives use solid-state storage. Available formatted capacity will be lower than the advertised total, and some space is used by the operating system and recovery files.

HP OMEN 45L GT22-3002in Cooling Design

The HP OMEN 45L GT22-3002in includes a 360mm LCD liquid cooler and three 120mm aRGB front fans. Its OMEN Cryo Chamber cooling design allows the liquid-cooling radiator to draw air from the surrounding environment.

Cooling is an important consideration when selecting a desktop for extended workloads. This system combines its dedicated cooling arrangement with an accessible tower design, allowing users to consider both thermal management and practical maintenance when planning their setup.

Wired and Wireless Connectivity

Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 provide wireless connectivity, while 2.5Gb Ethernet offers a wired networking option. Available connections also include USB-A, USB-C and Thunderbolt 4, allowing you to plan connections for compatible external drives, peripherals and other equipment.

The graphics card provides HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for compatible monitors. When building your workspace, choose display cables and monitors that support your intended resolution and refresh rate. Wireless speeds and network performance also depend on your router, connection and operating environment.

A Gaming Tower for Work and Play

The Shadow Black finish gives the desktop a consistent appearance across gaming and creative workspaces. A 1000W 80 PLUS Gold ATX 3.1 fully modular power supply forms part of the supplied configuration.
