Unlike conventional document-printing inks, the Epson T49P4 uses a dye-sublimation formulation designed for transferring images from compatible transfer paper onto suitable materials using controlled heat and pressure.

Key Features of Epson T49P4 Yellow Sublimation Ink 140ml

1. Genuine Epson Original Sublimation Ink

The Epson T49P4 Yellow Ink Bottle contains genuine Epson ink designed for compatible SureColor dye-sublimation printers.

Using original Epson ink helps ensure that the printer receives the formulation specified by its manufacturer.

The ink is intended to work with the designated printhead, ink delivery system and suitable sublimation transfer media.

2. Epson Dye-Sublimation Ink Technology

The Epson T49P4 Yellow bottle belongs to Epson’s dye-sublimation ink range.

Dye-sublimation is a specialised printing process in which an image is printed onto transfer media and subsequently transferred onto a compatible material using heat.

This process is commonly used for polyester textiles, coated merchandise and personalised products.

3. Vibrant Yellow Colour Reproduction

Yellow is an essential colour for producing full-colour sublimation graphics.

The Epson T49P4 Yellow Original Ink Bottle contributes to bright yellow shades, golden highlights, orange and green colour combinations when used alongside the printer’s other inks.

It is useful for printing artwork featuring:

• Yellow logos and lettering
• Colourful textile designs
• Sunset and landscape photographs
• Decorative illustrations
• Sports team graphics
• Promotional merchandise
• Personalised photo gifts
• Branded product artwork

Final transferred colours depend on the artwork, transfer paper, receiving material and heat-transfer conditions.

4. Quick-Drying Ink Formulation

Epson describes the T49P ink series as having a quick-drying, ultra-fine formulation.

This supports detailed printing on compatible sublimation transfer media and helps minimise unwanted dot gain.

Using the recommended paper and printer settings is important for achieving consistent output.

5. High-Quality Image Reproduction

The Epson T49P4 Yellow Sublimation Ink 140ml contributes to detailed photographic prints and colourful designs.

It works with the black, cyan and magenta ink channels in compatible four-colour SureColor sublimation printers.

The combined ink system supports gradients, illustrations, graphics and photographic artwork prepared for heat transfer.

6. Convenient 140ml Ink Capacity

The Epson T49P4 bottle contains 140ml of original yellow sublimation ink.

This capacity provides a convenient refill solution for businesses that regularly produce sublimation transfers.

Actual ink consumption depends on the size of the artwork, yellow colour coverage, printer settings and maintenance operations.

7. Compatible with Epson SureColor SC-F130

The Epson SureColor SC-F130 is a compact A4 dye-sublimation printer designed for compatible transfer-printing applications.

It is suitable for small businesses, creative professionals and personalised gift producers.

Epson T49P4 Yellow is an original refill ink for the SC-F130.

8. Compatible with Epson SureColor SC-F530

The Epson SureColor SC-F530 is designed for larger-format dye-sublimation printing workflows.

Businesses can use it to produce transfer artwork for compatible textile products, promotional merchandise and other sublimation applications.

The T49P4 Yellow bottle is included in Epson’s official SC-F530 consumable specifications.

9. Suitable for Custom Mug Printing

Sublimation-coated mugs are popular products for personalised merchandise businesses.

The Epson T49P4 Yellow ink contributes to the yellow and warm-colour elements of artwork prepared for mug sublimation.

Applications include:

• Personalised photo mugs
• Corporate promotional mugs
• Birthday gifts
• Anniversary gifts
• Branded merchandise
• Custom decorative designs

Only mugs with a suitable sublimation coating should be used.

10. Ideal for Polyester Textile Printing

The Epson T49P4 Yellow Ink Bottle supports compatible polyester textile sublimation workflows.

It is useful for producing artwork intended for:

• Polyester T-shirts
• Custom sports jerseys
• Team uniforms
• Promotional garments
• Polyester fabric panels
• Decorative textile items
• Personalised apparel

The material must be compatible with dye-sublimation transfer.

Ordinary untreated cotton fabric is not a direct substitute for a suitable polyester substrate.

11. Sportswear and Jersey Customisation

Sportswear designs frequently use bright colours, player numbers, sponsor logos and custom patterns.

Yellow sublimation ink contributes to the reproduction of vivid team colours and colourful graphic elements.

When used in an appropriate printing workflow, the Epson T49P4 supports transfer designs for compatible polyester sportswear.

12. Personalised Gift Manufacturing

The Epson T49P4 Yellow Sublimation Ink 140ml is suitable for printing artwork intended for various compatible personalised gifts.

Examples include:

• Coated photo panels
• Sublimation-coated mugs
• Custom souvenirs
• Branded accessories
• Compatible phone-case blanks
• Promotional gift products
• Decorative merchandise

Each receiving product must be specifically suitable for sublimation.

13. Promotional and Corporate Merchandise

Businesses involved in promotional printing can use compatible Epson SureColor printers to prepare designs for corporate merchandise.

The T49P4 Yellow ink contributes to colourful logos, advertising designs, product branding and decorative illustrations.

This makes the ink useful for organisations producing branded gifts and customised products.

14. Suitable for Professional Creative Printing

Graphic designers, print studios and merchandise manufacturers frequently require colour accuracy and detailed artwork reproduction.

The Epson T49P4 Yellow ink contributes to the printing of fine graphic details, illustrations and photographs.

For better consistency, use suitable artwork resolution, colour-management settings and Epson-recommended transfer media.

15. Easy Ink Tank Replenishment

The Epson T49P4 bottle is designed for replenishing the dedicated yellow ink tank of a supported SureColor printer.

Before refilling:

• Confirm that the printer requires Epson T49P4.
• Match the manufacturer SKU C13T49P400.
• Check the existing yellow ink level.
• Identify the correct yellow ink reservoir.
• Follow Epson’s official refill instructions.
• Avoid mixing sublimation ink with ordinary document ink.
• Close the bottle and ink tank securely after refilling.

Always consult the printer’s user manual before handling ink.

16. Supports Consistent Printer Operation

Genuine Epson sublimation ink is developed for the manufacturer’s designated printing systems.

Using the recommended ink helps maintain compatibility with supported hardware and printing workflows.

Consistent results also require appropriate printer maintenance, correct media selection and suitable heat-transfer conditions.

17. Epson T49P Yellow vs Fluorescent Yellow

The Epson T49P4 Yellow (C13T49P400) is a standard yellow dye-sublimation ink.

It is not the same as Epson Fluorescent Yellow (C13T49FA00).

The Epson SureColor SC-F531 uses a fluorescent ink configuration rather than the standard Magenta and Yellow bottles used by the SC-F130 and SC-F530.

Therefore, the T49P4 Yellow bottle should not be listed as compatible with the SC-F531.

18. Part of the Epson T49P Standard Ink Set

The standard Epson T49P dye-sublimation ink set includes:

• Black – T49P1 / C13T49P100
• Cyan – T49P2 / C13T49P200
• Magenta – T49P3 / C13T49P300
• Yellow – T49P4 / C13T49P400

These four ink colours are used in compatible Epson SureColor SC-F130 and SC-F530 printers.

This product contains one 140ml Yellow Ink Bottle only.
