Key Features of Epson 011 Black Ink Bottle 70ml

1. Genuine Epson Original Photo Black Ink

The Epson 011 Black Original Ink Bottle contains genuine Epson ink manufactured for designated Epson EcoTank photo printers.

Using the correct original ink supports compatibility with the printer’s ink delivery system and printhead.

Original Epson consumables are designed to provide consistent results when printers are maintained and operated according to Epson’s instructions.

2. Claria ET Premium Photo Ink Technology

The Epson 011 Black bottle forms part of the Claria ET Premium six-colour ink system used in compatible Epson photo printers.

This technology combines multiple ink colours to support high-quality photographic reproduction.

The dedicated Photo Black ink contributes to rich dark tones, image depth and smooth tonal transitions in photographs.

It works alongside the other ink colours to reproduce detailed colour and monochrome images.

3. Dye-Based Photo Black Formulation

The Epson 011 Photo Black Ink Bottle uses dye-based black ink.

Dye-based Photo Black is developed for photographic printing, where smooth gradients, dark tones and tonal detail are important.

This formulation is different from the pigment-based black ink used in the same printer family for document-oriented printing.

Customers should check the ink tank label before refilling.

4. Rich Black Tones for Photo Printing

Deep black tones contribute to realistic and detailed photographs.

The Epson 011 Black ink supports the reproduction of dark areas in:

• Professional portraits
• Wedding photographs
• Landscape images
• Night photography
• Studio product photography
• Black-and-white photo prints
• Family photographs
• Creative artwork

Actual print quality depends on the printer, paper, image resolution and printing settings.

5. Smooth Photographic Gradients

High-quality photographs often contain subtle changes between dark and light tones.

The Epson 011 Black Ink Bottle 70ml contributes to smooth transitions in shadows, dark backgrounds and other image areas.

When combined with the printer’s dedicated gray ink, Photo Black supports refined tonal reproduction across photographic images.

6. Designed for Epson EcoTank L8160 and L8180

The Epson 011 Black ink is suitable for compatible Epson photo printers, including:

• Epson EcoTank L8160
• Epson EcoTank L8180

These printers use a six-colour ink system designed for both photographic and everyday document printing.

Always confirm the ink bottle part number before purchasing.

7. Convenient 70ml Ink Capacity

The Epson 011 Black Original Ink Bottle contains 70ml of dye-based Photo Black ink.

Its refillable bottle design allows users to replenish the dedicated ink tank without replacing a traditional cartridge.

This format is convenient for users who regularly print photographs, creative projects and detailed images.

The number of prints depends on photo size, coverage, print settings and printer maintenance.

8. Suitable for Professional Photography Studios

Professional photo studios require dependable colour reproduction and consistent tonal output.

The Epson 011 Photo Black ink is useful for supported printers producing wedding albums, portrait collections, photography portfolios and professional image prints.

For optimal results, use appropriate photo paper and recommended printer settings.

9. Black-and-White Photography

Monochrome photography relies on accurate reproduction of highlights, midtones and shadows.

The Epson 011 Black ink works alongside the dedicated gray ink in compatible six-colour Epson photo printers.

Together, these inks help reproduce smooth grayscale gradations and detailed photographic tones.

10. Professional Portrait Printing

Portrait photographs often feature complex lighting and subtle shadows.

The Epson 011 Photo Black Original Ink contributes to the depth and definition of dark image areas.

It is suitable for printing studio portraits, family photographs, wedding images and creative portrait projects with compatible Epson printers.

11. Landscape and Travel Photography

Landscape images frequently include shadows, dark skies, mountains and contrasting light conditions.

Photo Black contributes to the reproduction of these details.

The Epson 011 bottle is suitable for customers printing landscape, wildlife, travel and nature photographs on supported Epson EcoTank photo printers.

12. Convenient Ink Refilling

The bottle is intended for the dedicated Photo Black ink tank.

For correct refilling:

• Confirm the required product code is C13T07J198.
• Identify the Photo Black ink reservoir.
• Check the existing ink level.
• Follow Epson’s official refill instructions.
• Avoid mixing Photo Black with Pigment Black.

13. Supports Consistent Printer Performance

Original Epson ink is designed to work with the corresponding printing system.

Using the recommended ink helps support consistent printing results when the printer is properly maintained.

Regular printhead maintenance, suitable photo paper and correct print settings are also important for preserving image quality.

14. Epson 011 Photo Black vs Epson 012 Pigment Black

Epson 011 Photo Black – C13T07J198

Epson 012 Pigment Black – C13T07K198

• Pigment-based black ink
• Intended primarily for document printing
• Supports sharp, clear black text

These bottles are not interchangeable.

15. Part of Epson’s Six-Colour Photo Ink System

Compatible printers use the following inks:
