ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W 27 Inch QHD Gaming Monitor – 540Hz / HD 720Hz, 0.02ms GTG

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W Gaming Monitor

The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W combines a high refresh rate with Tandem WOLED technology for gamers building a capable desktop setup. Marketed as a 27-inch monitor, it has a 26.5-inch viewable panel and a native 2560 × 1440 QHD resolution. Its combination of gaming, display-control and panel-care features makes it an option for a desk used for competitive games, immersive entertainment and everyday computer tasks.

PG27AQWP-W Dual Mode: QHD 540Hz or HD 720Hz

Dual Mode lets you choose QHD at 540Hz or HD at 720Hz using a hotkey. The QHD setting retains the panel’s native resolution, while the 720p option prioritises a higher refresh rate for competitive play. A rated 0.02ms grey-to-grey response time complements these modes. Choose the setting that suits each game and your preferred balance of resolution and motion. Your graphics hardware, connection and selected settings must support the operating mode you intend to use.

Tandem WOLED with TrueBlack Glossy

The monitor uses Tandem WOLED panel technology and a TrueBlack Glossy surface. ASUS describes the finish as having a zero-haze surface, helping preserve image clarity. OLED’s individually controlled pixels deliver deep blacks, adding depth to darker scenes and contrast to bright details. This combination suits a range of visual content, from detailed game environments to films. The glossy finish is an important consideration when positioning the screen, so arrange your desk lighting to limit distracting reflections during use.

HDR and Wide-Gamut Colour

VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification and HDR10 support provide a foundation for HDR games and video. ASUS specifies 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage, 10-bit colour and factory colour accuracy of Delta E below 2. These capabilities also make the screen useful for viewing photos and creative content between gaming sessions. Select the appropriate picture mode for your task, especially when moving between wide-gamut content and everyday desktop applications.

Adaptive Refresh and Gaming Tools

NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro help coordinate display refresh with compatible graphics hardware. GamePlus and GameVisual provide additional ways to tailor the gaming experience. The listed AI features include AI Visual, Dynamic Crosshair and Dynamic Shadow Boost. These tools give you control over how different games appear on screen. Configure the available options to suit your own visibility preferences and the type of game you are playing.

OLED Care Pro and Neo Proximity Sensor

ASUS OLED Care Pro provides tools designed to reduce OLED burn-in risk. The built-in Neo Proximity Sensor detects when you step away and switches the display to a black image. Content returns when you come back, and the detection distance can be adjusted. OLED Care also includes maintenance and dimming options, making panel care part of the monitor’s regular operation. These functions help manage the effects of static content during normal use.

Convenient Control with DisplayWidget Center

ASUS DisplayWidget Center gives you access to supported monitor settings and OLED Care controls through a software interface. Use the mouse to make routine picture adjustments and personalise the display for different activities. This is convenient when switching between gaming, browsing and video playback throughout the day. Available controls depend on the monitor and software version, so use the settings supported by your particular configuration.

Connectivity and Adjustable Stand

The PG27AQWP-W includes DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 connectivity with 80Gbps bandwidth, two HDMI 2.1 inputs and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A hub ports. A headphone output is provided, while audio playback requires headphones or external speakers. The stand supports height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments, helping you arrange the screen around your seating position. Use these adjustments to set a comfortable screen angle before starting a longer session. For an alternative setup, 100 × 100mm VESA mounting supports a compatible monitor arm or wall bracket.
