Key Features of Epson 012 Gray Ink Bottle 70ml

1. Genuine Epson Original Gray Ink

The Epson 012 Gray Ink Bottle contains genuine Epson ink manufactured for compatible EcoTank photo printers.

Original Epson ink is developed to work with the printer’s designated ink delivery system and printhead technology.

Using the correct original ink supports consistent printing performance when the printer is maintained and operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

2. Epson Claria ET Premium Ink Technology

The Epson 012 Gray bottle forms part of Epson’s Claria ET Premium six-colour photo ink system.

This printing system is designed for producing detailed colour photographs and high-quality black-and-white images.

The dedicated gray ink contributes to accurate grayscale reproduction, helping create smooth tonal transitions in photographs containing light, medium and dark shades.

3. Exceptional Black-and-White Photo Printing

Black-and-white photography requires the accurate reproduction of a wide range of gray tones.

The Epson 012 Gray Original Ink Bottle helps compatible printers produce monochrome photographs with smoother gradients and more refined details.

It is particularly useful for:

• Black-and-white portraits
• Wedding photographs
• Fine-art photography
• Architectural images
• Landscape photographs
• Studio photography
• Professional monochrome prints
• Creative photographic projects

Actual results depend on the paper, original image, printer settings and print quality.

4. Smooth Grayscale Gradients

Smooth transitions between different gray shades are important for realistic photographic output.

A dedicated gray ink channel helps reduce reliance on combinations of other inks when reproducing intermediate gray tones.

This contributes to smoother-looking gradients in areas such as shadows, cloudy skies, clothing, architectural surfaces and photographic backgrounds.

5. Detailed Shadow Reproduction

The Epson 012 Gray Ink Bottle 70ml contributes to the reproduction of subtle shadow details in compatible photo prints.

Photographs containing dark backgrounds, low-light scenes or complex lighting conditions benefit from a printing system capable of reproducing a broad tonal range.

Gray ink works alongside the other ink colours to support balanced image reproduction.

6. Suitable for Colour Photo Printing

Although gray ink is particularly valuable for monochrome photography, it also plays a role in colour photo printing.

The Epson Claria ET Premium ink system combines multiple colours to help create natural-looking photographs.

Gray ink can contribute to neutral areas, tonal balance and subtle details in colour images.

7. Convenient 70ml Ink Bottle Capacity

The Epson 012 Gray Original Ink Bottle contains 70ml of genuine Epson gray ink.

Its refillable format allows users to replenish the dedicated gray ink reservoir of a compatible Epson EcoTank printer.

The amount of ink consumed depends on the type of photographs printed, image coverage, photo size, print settings and maintenance operations.

8. Designed for Epson EcoTank L8160 and L8180

The Epson 012 Gray ink is used with compatible Epson EcoTank photo printers.

Supported models include:

• Epson EcoTank L8160
• Epson EcoTank L8180

These printers use Epson’s six-colour photo ink system to support detailed photographic output.

Before purchasing, always verify that your printer requires the 012 Gray ink bottle with part number C13T07K598.

9. Suitable for Professional Photography Studios

Photography studios frequently require smooth gradients, natural tonal reproduction and fine image details.

The Epson 012 Gray Ink Bottle supports compatible photo printers used for creating:

• Professional portraits
• Wedding albums
• Studio prints
• Portfolio photographs
• Artistic monochrome images
• Client photo collections
• Exhibition photographs

For the best results, use compatible photo paper and the manufacturer’s recommended colour settings.

10. Ideal for Landscape Photography

Landscape photography often contains complex tonal transitions, particularly in skies, mountains, water, shadows and clouds.

Gray ink contributes to reproducing these intermediate tones in compatible Epson photo printers.

This makes it useful for photographers who print scenic photographs and monochrome landscape images.

11. Useful for Portrait Photography

Portrait photography requires careful reproduction of highlights, shadows and subtle changes in facial tones.

The Epson 012 Gray ink works within the printer’s six-colour system to support smooth photographic gradations.

This can help reproduce detailed black-and-white portraits and balanced colour photographs.

12. Convenient Ink Refilling

The Epson 012 Gray bottle is designed for replenishing the designated gray ink tank of compatible printers.

For proper refilling:

13. Supports Consistent Photo Printing

Original Epson ink is formulated for designated Epson printing systems.

Using the correct gray ink helps maintain compatibility with the printer’s ink delivery components and supports consistent photographic output.

Regular maintenance, appropriate photo paper, suitable print settings and correct ink levels are also important.

14. Part of a Six-Colour Ink System

Compatible Epson L8160 and L8180 photo printers use six separate inks:

• Pigment Black
• Photo Black
• Cyan
• Magenta
• Yellow
• Gray

The Epson 012 Gray Ink Bottle is intended specifically for the gray ink tank.
