The TVS 136 Column 9 Wire Printhead for MSP 245 Star is designed for the TVS MSP 245 Star serial impact dot matrix printer. It features a 9-wire printhead and supports a wide 136-column print width, making it suitable for high-volume business and continuous-form printing applications.
The printhead provides a rated life of up to 200 million characters, helping deliver long-term printing performance. Its positioning speed can reach 450 CPS, while supported print modes include High Speed Draft, Draft and Near Letter Quality.
The TVS MSP 245 Star supports multiple paper paths including top, rear and bottom feeding, along with convertible push-and-pull tractor feeding. It supports continuous forms from 4 to 16 inches and cut sheets from 7.2 to 16.1 inches.
The compatible printer uses a patented TVS ribbon cassette with a user-replaceable ink bank. The Jet Black ribbon provides up to 40 million characters with three additional ink banks, while each ink bank has a life of up to 10 million characters.
This TVS 9 Wire Printhead is suitable as a replacement component for compatible MSP 245 Star printers used in offices, businesses and high-volume printing environments.
